Itinerary:

DAY 1

You’re in! Your Eatinerants journey starts in Venice with an aperitivo, where guides will debrief you on the trip plan, and the Eatinerants Kit will be handed to you!

For the first experience, we are off to a cicheti tour! Cicheti are small, succulent snacks typically served in traditional “bàcari” – old Venetian taverns, named after Bacchus, god of wine… or after the expression “far bacara” which loosely translates into “to party”. The cicheti will be washed down with an iconic Sprtiz, of course.

Post cicheti and spriss, we’ll see Venice, its canals, bridges, buildings, little squares …you will get tired of taking photos at each corner!

Then, after a well-deserved relax, we will try one of the most emblematic Venetian dishes: bigoli in salsa. Bigoli is a typical veneto pasta: thicker and coarser than spaghetti so to retain more sauce…mamma mia, we are already drooling!

The Eatinerants will stay in a beautiful and cosy hotel in downtown Venice.

DAY 2

Eatinerants transfer to Treviso for today… where the TripleT experience starts. You’ll taste the most glorious snack of the Region…the KING of the WHITE BREAD: Tramezzino (a definite ‘last meal’ favourite among our founders). While tasting the tramezzini, we will sulk in the gentry atmosphere of one of Italy’s hidden gems: Treviso.

After this… be ready to get dirty from eggs, Mascarpone, espresso, chocolate: its tiramisù making time!

The Eatinerants will transfer to Farra di Soligo… the land of Prosecco! We are in the heart of the Prosecco hills, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a real cultural landscape in which the labours of the vine-growers have contributed towards creating a scenery that is absolutely unique. This panorama will act as our dreamy dinner set-up.

DAY 3

Today we’ve got scheduled the most unusual experience of the whole tour: latte making… no, not coffee art, milking cows! We will do it in a typical Veneto Malga in Mel, and of course…by hand.

We will later transfer to Farra, and take a short walk to Riva “Col Par Sor” on the Prosecco hills, where you will learn how their grape is cultivated and cherished. We will have a prosecco tasting accompanied by local dishes – it’s time to bubble up!

In the early evening, we will move to Bassano del Grappa: the medieval old town full of cute squares, elegant palaces, and stone towers. The star of Bassano del Grappa is undoubtedly the famous Ponte Vecchio bridge, originally built in the 16th Century by Andrea Palladio and destroyed three times: but it’s still here for you to see!

After some relaxing, its dinner time – and you can’t get out of Veneto without Baccalà alla vicentina… a Venetian dish native to Vicenza made from stockfish, onions, anchovies, milk and mature cheese. The Confraternity of Baccalà of Bassano will be our host for this meal.

DAY 4

Last day guys, don’t cry! We will be visiting Poli Museo della Grappa, the best (and only one 😊) museum in Bassano! The museum is inside the Palazzo delle Teste, right in front of the Old Bridge. You’ll learn how Grappa is traditionally produced and you will taste five different spirits.

We’ll then walk on to brunch! The day has combined the very typical spirit, the very typical bridge and the very typical… we don’t remember, but for sure is typical. So then, what will you combine Grappa with? You’ll discover here…and don’t worry it will ensure you leave us in a merry state!
